De dientes y escuela / About teeth and school

Pues esta semana Leonardo mostró señales de que ya le están saliendo los dientes de arriba. Y esto lo ha puesto de un humor de los mil demonios. Supongo que en alguna forma le molesta el proceso, pero lo más que hemos podido hacer es ofrecerle la mordedera y cargarlo para que esté más tranquilo. El detalle es en la noche.

Esto también se complicó con oootra gripa que le dio la semana pasada. Una de las noches fue de gritos casi cada hora, y por supuesto, estuvo tomando medicina pero esa noche fue la noche que nadie durmió (ni él, Arturo, Michelle o yo).

Al día siguiente, aunque Arturo no sé cómo reunió fuerzas para irse a trabajar, por supuesto, ni Michelle se quería levantar, él tenía un poco de fiebre, yo sentía que me había pasado una aplanadora encima, así que, con toda la pena del mundo, no fue a la escuela.

Y claro, como es típico, al día siguiente nos levantamos los tres a cumplir nuestras respectivas obligaciones y oh, sorpresa, la maestra de Michelle no fue a la escuela (la Ley de Murphy, jajajaja). Pero bueno, no nos molestó mucho, todos necesitábamos aún dormir (bueno, ellos, yo me puse a trabajar, limpiar y demás asuntos).

Y pues a ver qué tal nos va el lunes, que va a ser día complicado, puesto que es el día para inscribir a Michelle. Ojalá no haya muchas mamás, esperemos.

This week Leonardo showed signs that other two teeth are coming. This has make him the most cranky baby in the world, lol. I guess the whole process is causing him to feel like this, but the only thing we have been able to do is give him his teether and carry him when he's feeling bad. The problem is at night.

To add more 'emotion' to this, he had anooother cold. One night, he cried almost every hour, and of course, we were giving him medication, but anyway nobody slept that night (neither his father, Michelle, Leonardo nor I).

Next day, I don't know how he did it, but Arturo went to his work, but Michelle didn't want to wake up, Leo had still a little fever, and I felt like a truck has passed over me, so we didn't go to school. Next day, we started our day as we normally do and, oh, surprise, Michelle's teacher didn't went to the school, lol. Well, we didn't feel really so bad because we needed to sleep a little more (well, they slept, I worked and cleaned the house, among other chores).

Let's see how is Monday, it's going to be a little complicated day, I have to go to pre-register Michelle in her new school. I hope there's not a long line of mothers waiting that day.
