Así de acelerada ando

Tantas cosas que hacer de lunes a domingo me han mantenido lejos de este blog y de otros.

Han sido semanas llenas de cosas que hacer (afortunadamente todas ellas han sido trabajo y por lo tanto, recibo un pago por ellas).

Ha sido estresante trabajar y trabajar, pero cuando pienso que esto es por mi familia no me importa el estrés y continuo trabajando (claro, con unos poquitos breaks entre tanto trabajo, claro, como para abrazar a mis niños, entrar a Twitter, leer noticias y sitios interesantes en Google Reader o Friendfeed y jugar un poquito en Facebook).

Afortunadamente me pude dar también tantito tiempo para salir con la familia. Fuimos a ver "Up", mi primera película en 3D (hace semanas, claro, cuando hubo un espacio entre trabajo y trabajo) y me gustó mucho. Es una gran historia con un trabajo artístico impresionante.

Los niños están bien. Leo es muy activo e intenta salir al jardín cada vez que podemos. Claro, sigue a su hermana a donde quiera que va y casi todos los días Arturo es el que se encarga de sacarlos y vigilarlos porque tiene un poquito más de tiempo que yo.

Michelle ya está llendo a sus últimos días de escuela y tendrá una graduación 'rápida' del kínder (ni siquiera sabemos si habrá ceremonia) porque con la influenza H1N1 en el país y en el mundo todavía no se sabe si puede haber más contagios.

Finalmente, este fin de semana tuvimos la visita de mi suegra y cuñadas, quienes pasaron tiempo con Michelle y Leo, además de que les trajeron varios regalos. Siempre estoy agradecida de eso y por supuesto, mis hijos están felices cuando vienen.

Así que eso ha pasado desde el último post, es un poco ... complicado coordinar tood, pero nos la estamos arreglando. :)

So many things to do from Monday to Sunday have kept me away from this blog and others I have.

It has been weeks full of stuff to do (fortunately all of them are work and therefore, I receive a payment for them, lol).

It's a little stressing to be working and working, but when I think this is for my family I don't mind at all the stress and I keep working (of course, with a few breaks for hugging my kids, Twitter, reading news and interesting sites in Google Reader or FriendFeed and even playing a little in Facebook).

And even I went out with my family, we went to see "Up" in 3D (weeks ago, of course, when there was a little break in the work) and loved it. It's a great story, with great artwork.

Leo is very active, and he wants to go out to the garden every time we can. Of course, he follows his sister wherever she goes and almost everyday Arturo is the one who takes them outside and watch them because he has a little more time than I do.

Michelle is going to her last days of school and she's going to have a fast 'graduation' from kinder (we don't even know if she will have a ceremony) because with the H1N1 flu still in the world they are afraid it could still be contagius.

And finally, this weekend we have the visit of my MIL and my SILs, who spent time with Michelle and Leo, and also brought presents for my kids. I'm always grateful for that and of course, my kids are happy. :)

So that has been my life since the last post, it's a little ... um... complicated to coordinate all, but we are managing to do so. :)

Working, working, working

Bueno, pues estos días y semanas han sido de mucho, mucho, mucho trabajo. Entre lo que ya hacía como asesora en Internet (no explico aquí porque es muy largo, ahí veánlo en mi curriculum), aparte con los proyectos nuevos con Plaza Network (lo último fue hacerles un manual de car audio, estuvo pesado, siempre hacer un manual de lo que sea es tardado), además de unas propuestas más por ahí, la cuestión es que me la he pasado de lunes a domingo (literalmente) trabajando.

Michelle y Leonardo han andado bien de salud (ya no nos hemos enfermado de gripa, precisamente, por el aislamiento que tuvimos por 15 días o más.

Lo malo de estos días es que han hecho cada cosita y no he podido ni tomarles fotos ni video porque desde que se perdió el celular ya no tengo con qué... Se siente raro, pero bueeeno, ya ni modo...

A veces creo que sí dependemos demasiado de la tecnología, ya es tan parte de nuestra vida diaria que cuando nos quedamos sin ella, es extraño, es sentirse "fuera de", pero pues ya me las arreglaré con cosas menos 'modernas' (mi anterior Palm para organizarme, por ejemplo).

Pero bueno, una de las cosas que han hecho: enlodarse a morir. Michelle ha tomado la costumbre de hacer 'túneles' como les dice Michelle en las plantas junto a la puerta.

Por supuesto, Leonardo no puede evitar ir a ver de qué se trata y termina como hombre de terracota, jajaja, cubierto de tierra (pero negra, no roja) de pies a cabeza. Michelle 'solamente' se ensucia pies y manos.

A Leo le da por sentarse en el primer escalón de la escalera (no puede pasar de ahí porque hay una reja) y hacer voces y gritar, ¿por qué? No lo sé. A Arturo le digo que quizá él ya habla un idioma, pero no uno que conozcamos, jajaja, a ver cuáaaando me vuelve a decir mamá.

Y pues entre malabarear a estos muchachos y sus cosas (la escuela, el comportamiento, mandarlos a dormir, ¡mantenerlos dormidos!, bañarlos, etc.), mantener semi ordenada la casa -no, no está como casa de Desperate Housewife obsesiva- y el trabajo la verdad es que no paro. Dormir ¿qué es eso?

Pero ojalá y las cosas en cuestión de trabajo sigan agarrando ritmo, para la cual ya tengo hasta horarios apartados para trabajar. Ah, la vida moderna... :)

Well, I've been a little busy and therefore, I haven't been able to translate as usually with my new posts, but well, you haven't lost anything if you're reading this, just a contest for a cell phone and that was about it.

I've been working and working and working. I'm still doing stuff as Internet assessor (I don't explain here because it's too long, but if you want to know more, here's my résumé curriculum).

Besides, I've been doing in my spare time (after doing this work) things for a site named Plaza Network. I wrote a handbook for them lately (a lot of hardwork, but I think it was great). There are a few proposals for another stuff and therefore I've been working from Monday to Sunday.

Michelle and Leonardo are great, his health is very good (since the influenza thing, we spent here 15 days in a row and they didn't catch even a cold thanks to that).

They have been so funny this last days but I haven't been able to take them even a picture, since my cellphone disappeared, it's strange, not having it, I think everyone of us is a little accustomed to use technology and when it's not there any more, you feel 'naked' or an 'outsider' compared with the rest of people, but I will find a way to take pictures and video. For example, in order to organize my schedule I'm using an old Palm I had (a m515) .

Well, one of the stuff they have been doing is playing with mud. Michelle likes to play to make 'tunnels' in the yard, and of course, Leonardo can't avoid to be with her, he ends covered in dirt from head to toe, lol. Michelle "only" gets dirty from her hands and feet. Of course, we have to give them a good bath after that.

Leo is doing another thing also. He likes to sit in the first step of the stairs (he can't go further, since there's a safety door there). Then, he shouts and shouts and babbles, why? We don't know. Maybe he has some secret language my husband and I don't understand. :)I hope he will say 'mommy' soon.

And well, doing all the usual stuff (taking care of kids, taking Michelle to school, watching how they behave, sending them to bed, keep them in their beds!, bathing tghem) and cleaning the house (not like a obsessive Desperate Housewive, really just the necessary cleaning) and work, I end up very tired, but sleep, who can sleep? :)

I hope work keeps coming, even if I'm really tired, so I'm organizing my schedule to add time for every project. Modern life, is so full of things, :)
